Mammoth Technology is growing and are looking to add an experienced IT Service Desk Technician.

Hiring Timeframe: Within the next 60 days from 14/09/2024

Day to Day Functions

  • SPOC for client liaison for tickets that originate from calls, emails and chat.
  • Provide IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operation systems.
  • Updating/following ITGlue documentation
  • Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and security
  • Basic remote access solution implementation and support
  • Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes and agreed outages.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction.
  • Fast turnaround of customers’ requests
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Work with the service Desk Dispatcher to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource to be resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Escalate service requests that require L2/L3/Management level support.
  • Responsible for entering time and expense in ConnectWise as they occur.
  • Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise University
  • Enter all work as service tickets in ConnectWise

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in technical support roles including maintaining a desktop workstation OR relevant area of study will be considered for the role.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience with user administration in Active Directory and Exchange Online OR relevant area of study will be considered for the role.
  • Hands on experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Current experience with various operating systems and packages including MS Office 365, Windows 10, Windows 11.

Baseline Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Information technology
  • At least 1 year experience in the related field OR relevant area of study will be considered for the role. Candidate needs to display aptitude and willingness to learn in interview.
  • Experience working in an IT Support environment would help greatly in your application.

  • Early shift (GMT +10 etc)
  • Work at office based in Cyberjaya
  • Ability to work 1 of 3 shifts (GMT+10):
  • Sunday – Thursday
  • Tues – Sat
  • Friday -Monday (12h/day)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 – RM7,000.00 per month
